Vent-free Split Oak uses the S9 log family with the G9 burner. The manufacturer offers 20-, 24- and 30-inch single-view log sets, paired with the 20/24/30 burner group. The G9 presentation includes an ember bed and a reflective panel; the supplied lava granules, embers and Bryte Coals belong to the approved arrangement. Decide how you want to operate the fire before comparing the final component price. Manual operation, -12 on/off remote and -15 variable-flame remote are different burner choices. The Bluetooth accessory described by the manufacturer applies to the -12 control, not every G9 model. A two-sided fireplace needs the separate 24-inch S9-2/G9-2 selection. This single-view set is not a shortcut to that layout, and its room and firebox still need vent-free suitability review.

The practical boundary

Room heat comes with room requirements.

During vent-free operation, moisture and combustion products stay in the room. Fireplace approval, combustion air, room conditions and local rules must allow the appliance. This is a supplemental-heating choice, subject to the exact model instructions.

The nominal 20 / 24 / 30-inch labels describe the offered set sizes. They do not establish the minimum firebox width, depth or opening height. Different control assemblies can change the space required.
